Influence of defrosting of air cooling for fluctuations of air pressure in goods chambers of cooling containers.

Author(s) : ZAKRZEWSKI B., HABEREK J.

Summary

The authors argue that there is a need for changes in the regulation of the Classification Societies, which set the conditions for carrying out thermal tests of refrigerating containers. There are two problem areas, in particular: the lack of a definition of flow conditions of the container by the air flux, and the level of the pressure difference between the air and the atmosphere during leak measurements. Errors could thus result in estimating the thermal losses of the container.
