Experimental comparison on performance of rotary compressors with different HFC134a compatible lubricants.

Author(s) : YU H. L., LI R. Y., CHEN D. K.

Summary

The report provides a performance investigation of rotary compressors with five kinds of lubricants. Experiments on 19 test-working conditions, including the standard working condition for each lubricant, were conducted. The results of the experiments showed that the COP for R134a is lower than that for R12 when the evaporating temperature is below -20 deg C. When the evaporating temperature is over -20 deg C, the opposite results are obtained.
