Summary
THE APPARATUS DESCRIBED ELIMINATES THE NEED OF REFRIGERATION. VACUUM IS OBTAINED WITH A PUMP SUPPLIED WITH A STRONG WATER FLOW. GOOD RESULTS WERE RECORDED ON THE LABORATORY SCALE WITH GREEN TOMATOES (90 DAYS IN A TROPICAL CLIMATE) ; THEY RIPEN THEN NORMALLY.
