Summary
In the paper, several mixtures based on trifluoromethyl iodide are proposed as new long-term alternatives to R12. For one mixture, the vapour pressure curve, theoretical-cycle performance estimated and the flammability test result are published. The domestic refrigerator test includes the thermal performance, such as charge, pull down energy consumption, the running time and storage temperature. The results show that the mixture is one of the prospective, long-term refrigerant as drop-in alternative to R12.
