Summary
A novel Absorption Heat Exchangers(AHE) is prompted in this paper. This new type of absorption heat exchanger, called dual functional absorption heat exchangers, can achieve two different functions. Through the first function, the outlet temperature of the hot fluid can be lower than the inlet temperature of the other side, the machine act as an Absorption Heat Pump(AHP). Through the second function, the outlet temperature of the cool fluid can be higher than the inlet temperature of the other side, the machine act as an Absorption Heat Transformer(AHT). A new structure was designed to satisfy the requirements. The performance of the machine verifies the feasibility of the design.
