A simple vapour pressure equation for new refrigerants.

Author(s) : WANG W., TAN L., XIANG H.

Summary

A study of the thermodynamic properties of new alternatives is undoubtedly important. Many vapour pressure equations have been developed to predict the behaviour of pure substances along their vapour-liquid saturation boundary. For new refrigerants, a more simple, accurate and generalized equation is always expected. In the paper, a new general vapour pressure equation, based upon the theory of the corresponding states principles, is developed and successfully applied to new alternative refrigerants.
