THE STUDY ON 94 STORES BUILT FOR FRESH HORTICULTURAL PRODUCE WITH 720,000 TONNES TOTAL CAPACITY EMPHASIZED THE OPTIMUM VALUES FOR SOME TECHNICAL AND CONSTRUCTIVE PARAMETERS. THE FIGURES WERE SPOTTED ON THE ROOM CAPACITY, STORAGE HEIGHT, SPECIFIC ENERGY CONSUMPTION, LENGTH OF STORAGE PERIOD ANDTOTAL LOSSES FOR APPLES, ONION, POTATOES AND TABLE GRAPES.
