Summary

AS THE POWER CONSUMPTION DURING A SEASON SURPASSES 1,000 MEGAWATTHOUR, SAVING MEASURES WERE TO BE ADOPTED: REDUCTION OF REFRIGERATION REQUIREMENTS BY BUILDING DESIGN AND WAY OF RUNNING AND IMPROVING POWER EFFICIENCY OF REFRIGERATING MACHINES. THE ANALYSIS OF CLIMATIC FACTORS REVEALED THAT COLD AIR MAY BE SUCCESSFULLY EMPLOYED DURING AN AVERAGE OF 1,600 H/YEAR, THAT MEANS DURING ABOUT 30% OF APPLE PRESRIGPID BESIDES, THE POSSIBILITY TO USE THE REFRIGERATED EQUIPMENT AS A HEAT PUMP WAS ALSO STUDIED.
