Achieving refrigeration through the use of renewable energy resources.
Author(s) : CHARTERS W. W. S.
Summary
The most commonly available forms of renewable energy in use today for the provision of electricity would include wind power, solar photovoltaic power or solar thermal power. Any assessment of renewable energy refrigeration techniques must take into account the high capital cost and low running cost characteristics of the plant by rigourous application of life cycle costing techniques.
