ADAPTIVE CONTROL OF REFRIGERATION PLANT.

Author(s) : HELBERG V.

Summary

DURING THE PAST YEARS, DEVELOPMENT OF REFRIGERATION CONTROLS HAS BEEN WIDELY BASED ON THE ORIGINAL PRINCIPLE OF DESIGN, FOR INSTANCE THE THERMOSTATIC ELEMENT, BUT OVER THE YEARS A SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT HAS TAKEN PLACE WITHIN PRODUCTION, TECHNOLOGY, ETC. HOWEVER, THE APPEARANCE OF ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEMS AND MICROPROCESSORS HAS PERMITTED THE INTRODUCTION OF COMPLETELY NEW CONTROL PRINCIPLES. A CONTROL SYSTEM ENSURING BOTH OPTIMUM UTILIZATION OF THE MAIN COMPONENTS OF THE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM AND AN OPTIMUM CORRELATION BETWEEN THE VARIOUS MAIN COMPONENTS IS DESCRIBED.
