SOME APPLICATIONS OF COMPUTER AIDS FOR THE OPTIMUM DESIGN AND OPERATION OF REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS.

Author(s) : PAGE A. O., MCCREA J. J.

Summary

ALMOST ALL THE REFRIGERATING SYSTEMS STILL USE ELECTROMECHANICAL METHODS DEPENDING ON THERMOSTATS. A PROGRAMMABLE CONTROL OF COLD ENCLOSURES WITH RESPECT TO THEIR MODES OF USE, LEADS TO A MORE EFFICIENT ALGORITHM, WITH A MUCH MORE CON-STANT TEMPERATURE. BREAKDOWNS REQUIRE THE SERVICES OF SPECIALIZED ENGINEERS WHO ARE NOT NUMEROUS. SUCH A CONTROLLER HAS TO DEFINE NORMALLY THE MAIN MEASUREMENTS OF CAPACITY AND OF SPECIFIC CONSUMPTION OF CAPACITY, IN ORDER TO INDICATE A POTENTIAL DECREASE IN PERFORMANCE.
