THE PAPER DISCUSSES THE MERITS, CONFIGURATION, CONTROL, AND ECONOMICS OF USING THE ADIABATIC SATURATION PROCESS IN CONJUNCTION WITH CENTRAL STATION AIR CONDITIONING TO ENHANCE SYSTEM ECONOMICS AND ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY IN DATA PROCESSING AND OFFICE FACILITIES. HUMIDIFICATION IS AN EVER-INCREASING REQUIREMENT IN THE DESIGN AND OPERATION OF MODERN TCE. PROPERLY CONFIGURED AND CONTROLLED, THIS APPROACH OFFERS BETTER PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS THAN ANY OTHER TYPE OF SYSTEM NORMALLY USED IN THESE OCCUPANCY CLASSES.
