AT HIGH ALTITUDES (UP TO 12,000 METRES) CABIN CONDITIONS ARE MAINTAINED AT 2,400 METRES ALTITUDE MAXIMUM AT 295 K (22 DEG C) MORE OR LESS 1 K. NO ATTEMPT IS MADE TO REGULATE CABIN HUMIDITY WHICHAT HIGH ALTITUDE CAN BE AS LOW AS 5% RELATIVE HUMI THE MAIN ELEMENTS OF THE ENVIRONMENT SYSTEM ARE THE CABIN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, THE CABIN PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM, AND THE CABIN TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM. LATER MODEL AIRCRAFT USES DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEMS HOWEVER THE < BASICS > OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS REMAIN ESSENTIALLY UNCHANGED FROM THAT USED IN THE BOEING 707.
