Summary
The author identifies the interest in air conditioning and heating for cars. If the problem is solved for combustion motor vehicles, it remains for electric vehicles. A solution is given based on zeolite water adsorption. The properties of the zeolites are outlined thoroughly, together with a diagram of a refrigeration or heating adsorption cycle. Regeneration takes place during recharging of the electric vehicle. During the active phase of the adsorption cycle, ice can be stored, later to be used to cool the vehicle.
