Summary
Digital telephone equipment causes high heat load and requires special temperature and humidity control. The author gives guidelines and basic requirements for project design: reliability, easy extension of the system, minimum maintenance, total automatic control, simple installation, low noise, security (in particular: regulations on hygiene and security of workers); special technical requirements: constant temperature and homogeneous humidity, reduction of air dust content, comfort, fresh air-total air ratio.
