Summary

Describes a design option in which the large fan coil units plus VAV fresh air system is employed in a high and large workshop to meet the requirement of the working area for air conditioning, using stratificated air conditioning method, with sidewall air supply at middle height and air returning through inlets at lower height of the wall; in the upper part space, air intakes are installed and fresh air cooling can be largely used. Outlines air treatment modes, cooling/heat sources, controlled parameters and gives measurement results of operation in summer/winter working conditions.
