Alternative formulation of the state equations of a gas.
Author(s) : BREEDVELD P. C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The author suggests that a bond graph representation of an ideal gas or a van-der-Waals gas is a form of state equation which can lead to analogous comparison with a flat-plate capacitor, and hence as a two-port capacitor. Thermodynamic equations are evolved on this basis which are suitable for dynamic modelling. D.W.H.
