Summary
THE AUTHORS PRESENT A NEW COMBINED ABSORPTION AND COMPRESSION REFRIGERATION CYCLE. BY CALCULATING THE CYCLE FOR THE AMMONIA SOLUTION, WHICH IS BASED ON NEW EQUATIONS, THEY ANALYSE THE OPERATION OF SYSTEM AND INTRODUCE A COMPRESSOR OPERATING AS A VAPOUR MACHINE IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE. THE MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY OF THIS CYCLE IS GREATER THAN THAT OF CONVENTIONAL CYCLES.
