An energy management support system for HVAC systems in large-scale buildings.

Summary

This energy management support system provides, by analyzing the operating costs for the heat load, information on the optimal combination of various machines for energy saving, on optimal operating schedule for each machine, and on heat release and storage by the thermal storage tank for the optimization of thermal capacity. The system has been installed in a large-scale building since March 1991, where it has been successfully providing information on the optimal operating schedules and optimal combination of heat generating machines. As a result, a reduction in annual operating costs of 25% has been achieved.
