An extended equation of state for 30 refrigerants and its utilization to some refrigerant mixtures.
Author(s) : SHAFE'I M. O. R. al-
Summary
The paper presents a new extended three-parameter equation of state which arose from the two-parameter Caranahan-Starling-de Santis equation of state. The obtained relative standard deviation of PVT results for pure refrigerants from litterature data was within the limits 0.05-0.6%. For some tested binary mixtures it was within the range of 0.05 to 4.5%. Information on the software package created by the author, based on the new equation of state, is also presented.
