Summary

MANY CONTROLS, SIMULATIONS AND TESTS HAVE BEEN REALISED IN LABORATORY OR ON TEST RIGS ON THIS SUBJECT. THE AUTHORS HAVE BUILT TOGETHER SUCH A UNIT ON AN INDUSTRIAL SITE, USING ALL THEIR OWN TOP TECHNOLOGIES TO OPTIMIZE THE OPERATION AND THE CONTROL. SUCH A TEST IN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO MEASURE RELIABILITY OF THIS NEW TECHNOLOGY IN REAL USAGE RATHER THAN ON TEST RIGS. EVEN IF SIMILAR UNITS EXIST ACTUALLY, MAINLY IN THE FIELD OF DOMESTIC HEAT PUMPS, THEY ARE ALWAYS SMALL SIZE UNITS. THE AUTHORS INTEND TO DEMONSTRATE HOW THEY WILL CHECK . IN SITU ) THE DIFFERENT INFORMATION COLLECTED DURING TESTS ON TEST RIGS BOTH FOR PERFORMANCES AND MAINTENANCE. TESTS IN REAL SIZE HAVE ALREADY ALLOWED TO SHOW THAT THE PROBLEM OF CONTROLLING THE REFRIGERANT FLUID CHARGE WITH A MIXTURE IS NOT MORE DIFFICULT THAN WITH A STANDARD PURE FLUID.
