Summary

AFTER REVIEWING THE DIFFERENT ADVANTAGES OF USING IN A HEAT PUMP NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES COMPARED TO PURE FLUIDS OR AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES, THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN THE LABORATORY AND WITH A PROTOTYPE UNIT ARE DESCRIBED. THE PROTOTYPE UNIT THERMAL OUTPUT RANGES BETWEEN 200 AND 500 KILOW. THE RESULTS OBTAINED SHOW A SIMULTANEOUS INCREASE IN THE COP AND IN THE THERMAL OUTPUT.
