Analysis of zeolite adsorption cycle using air cooled heat exchangers.

Author(s) : SAMI S. M., TULEJ P.

Summary

A waste heat-powered zeolite-water adsorption experimental simulation is presented in the paper. Exhaust hot flue gas is the driving force for this particular adsorption cycle. Heating and cooling capacities were obtained at cross-flow air-water heat exchangers. Experimental data obtained during the simulation were used to calculate cooling and heating capacities, the COP of the cycle, as well as the heat transfer coefficient during cooling and heating, under varying conditions.
