APPLICATION OF COMPUTERS FOR ENERGY CALCULATIONS OF SCREW REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR WITH REFRIGERANT INJECTION.

Summary

NON-OIL-FILLED SCREW COMPRESSORS IN WHICH THE LIQUID REFRIGERANT IS INJECTED ARE A GOOD PERSPECTIVE FOR THE USE IN THOSE REFRIGERATION PLANTS WHICH DO NOT TOLERATE THE PRESENCE OF OIL IN THE REFRIGERANT. THEY ARE ALSO MORE PROFITABLE IN COMPARISON WITH DRY SCREW COMPRESSORS. A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF WORKING PROCESSES OF A SCREW COMPRESSOR WITH LIQUID REFRIGERANT INJECTION IS PROPOSED. FOLLOWING THE ANALYSIS OF TESTS CARRIED OUT WITH THE USE OF R717 AND R22, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE PROPERTIES OF THE REFRIGERANT INFLUENCE THE VOLUMETRIC AND ENERGETIC PERFORMANCE OF THE COMPRESSOR WITH LIQUID REFRIGERANT INJECTION. THE ENERGETIC EFFICIENCY CALCULATED WITH R22 WAS HIGHER THAN WITH R717 AND WAS COMMENSURABLE WITH THAT OF AN OIL-FLOODED COMPRESSOR.
