Summary

Comparative laboratory tests showed that the performance of the R134a-version was slightly lower than that of the R12-version for a non-moving car with an idling engine. For a moving car with an engine running at approximately 2,750 rpm, the performance of the R134a-version was slightly better. Additional test for the R134a-version with a 33% larger condenser installed showed a better performance for all conditions compared to the R12-version with the original condenser.
