APPROACHES TO THE DEFINITION AND MEASUREMENT OF THE STORAGE LIFE OF CHILLED AND FROZEN FISH: A BRIEF REVIEW.

Author(s) : HOWGATE P.

Summary

QUITE NUMEROUS PAPERS WERE PUBLISHED ON THE MEASUREMENT OF THE STORAGE LIFE OF FRESH AND FROZEN FISH, BUT RESEARCH WORKERS RARELY GIVE THE DEFINITION OF WHAT THEY MEAN BY STORAGE LIFE. STORAGE LIFE WAS ESTIMATED IN NUMEROUS WAYS. THE BOUNDARY STORAGE LIFE OF ICED FISH CAN BE ESTABLISHED AFTER THE CHANGES IN FLAVOUR DURING DETERIORATION BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DEFINE THE BOUNDARY STORAGE LIFE OF FROZEN FISH.
