DESCRIPTION OF AN AUTOMATED PLANT BUILT IN FINLAND ON THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLE: AFTER PACKAGING, THE PALLETS CONTAINING THE YOGURTS ARE ADMITTED INTO WARMED ROOMS, THEN INTO COOLING TUNNELS AND FINALLY INTO A COLD ROOM. ALL THESE MOTIONS ARE COMPUTERISED. THIS CIRCUIT IS USED FOR FIRM YOGURTS AND SIMILAR PRODUCTS. ANOTHER CIRCUIT WAS DESIGNED FOR STIRRED YOGURTS DIRECTLY ADMITTED INTO THE COOLING TUNNEL. THE PLANT INCLUDES EIGHT CONVEYORS ON TWO LEVELS, ABLE TO RECEIVE 188 PALLETS. A COLD ROOM PROVIDES THE AUTOMATIC STORAGE OF FRESH PASTEURISED MILK, STORED IN ROLLS. G.G.
