A FACTORY FOR FRENCH FRIED POTATOES STORES THE PRODUCT AT A TEMPERATURE OF 251 K (-22 DEG C) IN AN AUTOMATIC COLD STORE. PALLETS WITH PRODUCTS ARE PLACED IN RACKS BY A COMPUTER CONTROLLED TRANSPORT DEVICE. COMPARED TO A CONVENTIONAL SYSTEM THERE IS A SAVING ON STAFF-AND ENERGY COSTS. THE STORAGE CAPACITY PER M3 IS GREATER AND THE LOGISTIC MANAGEMENT IS MORE ACCURATE AND QUICKER.
