THE RUMANIAN WHITE CABBAGE CULTIVAR < DE BUZAU > CAN BE STORED IN SILOS FOR ABOUT 80 DAYS, WITH TOTAL LOSSES OF 33%. THE STORAGE PERIOD UNDER SUCH CONDITIONS CAN BE LENGTHENED TO 136 DAYS. FORNAX, STONAR, LARES, MAMBA CABBAGE CULTIVARS CAN BE STORED IN COLD STORES UNTIL MAY (AFTER 165 DAYS TOTAL LOSSES WERE ABOUT 27%). THE CABBAGE HYBRID < SIRET > PROVED TO BE THE BEST ONE, AS ITS STORAGE CAPACITY RESEMBLES THAT OF DUTCH CULTIVARS (AFTER 145 DAYS THE TOTAL LOSSES AMOUNTED TO ABOUT 29%).
