Summary
For a new office building in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, a new air conditioning concept based on four existing air conditioning methods has been introduced: cold storage and heat storage in the soil, heat pump, double-walled façades with integrated climate control, and radiant heating combined with a cooling system in the ceiling. When taken together, these methods not only provide complete climate comfort for the employees but also substantial energy savings.
