Summary
The paper deals with the mechanism of formation of biofilm inside refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. The conditions for formation of this film in the installations, including conditions necessary for formation of biological films inside systems, have been discussed. Close attention has been paid to the consequences of the formation of biofilm inside pipes as well as a method for effective removal.
