Summary

While household consumption seems to have leveled off, the agro-food sector grew 2.1% in 1995. Within this sector, frozen food and ice cream have maintained excellent results in terms of both value and volume. These products, for which there has been much innovation and advertising, are now used by more than 80% of French households.
