Summary

The Dutch CFC Committee notes in its final report that, based on the cooperation between government and industry, the total amount of consumption of CFCs and halons used in the Netherlands has been reduced in 1994 with 92.7% from 16,605 ODP-weighted tonnes in 1986 to 1,211 ODP-weighted tonnes in 1994. The reduction target for 1994 was a reduction of 96.8%, compared to the base year 1986. For 1995 a complete phase out is foreseen and based on legislation and law enforcement this goal has been accomplished in the meantime.
