CFC phase-out in Austria: alternative technologies.
Author(s) : AICHINGER H.
Summary
The paper outlines the CFC situation in Austria, a country which is ahead of the Montreal Protocol deadlines. The deadlines for the use of both CFCs and HCFCs for refrigeration and other applications, including cleaning, are given. Examples of alternative changes are given (cleaning of glassware). A figure shows the steps (up to the phase out deadlines, in 1995) for the different applications.
