Summary

The Refrigerant Fluid National Commission published a note for its general meeting of September 23, 1993, written in conjunction with the professional organizations (chemists, compressor manufacturers, distributors, installation engineers and stockists) to define the evolution of the production programmes at EC level and to follow the directions dictated by a scheme shared by various refrigerant fluid producers: new plant, existing plant and retrofitting. Because the installer could be responsible for a production stop due to a product shortage, it is advised: to submit 2 estimates (with CFC and with substitutes) and if the customer choses the CFC solution, have him sign an extension to the general sale and guarantee conditions.
