Summary
The current status of the CFC phase out programme is given and problems with existing equipment are discussed, in particular residual oil and its miscibility at low temperatures. A table of Montreal Protocol and EC Regulations for various refrigerants is also given. Some details are presented of new installations with new refrigerants for a large confectionary cold store, vehicle refrigeration units and dairy cooling equipment. G.R.S.
