Summary
After a quick reminder of the existing regulations, the authors describe how to choose the refrigerant for a new system and what elements should be taken into account for the design and the installation of the system. Then, the system maintenance and performance issue are discussed, an inventory of the possible solutions is listed and criteria for choosing the best solution are analyzed. Finally, economical criteria and standardization of the systems already modified are examined.
