CFD analysis of a call centre HVAC system: a case study.

Summary

The method of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was used to study the indoor air flow field in a (24*7) Call Centre - air-conditioned spaces. Numerical experiments were performed. Typical mechanical HVAC systems were installed in those sites so that the evaluation of results of the system performance would be useful for assessing other similar systems. The predicted results were analyzed and compared with HVAC project site measurements. More importantly, the potential use of the predicted results was illustrated. Good agreement was found between the simulated results and obtained project site data.
