Conference room HVAC system performance analysis: a case study.

Author(s) : ADHIKARY P., SAHA S., PRAKASH D., et al.

Summary

Typical mechanical HVAC systems were installed in those sites so that the evaluation of results of the system performance would be useful for assessing other similar systems. The method of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was used to study the indoor air flow field in a Conference Room - air-conditioned spaces. Numerical experiments were performed in six test sites of different sizes and ventilation configurations. The predicted results were analyzed and compared with HVAC project data. Good agreement was found between the simulated results and obtained project site data. More importantly, the potential use of the predicted results was illustrated.
