Characterization of phase-change and cool-storage processes of mixed gas hydrate.

Summary

Gas hydrate has been considered as one of the most promising phase-change materials for cool storage in air-conditioning systems. One of the major advances in gas-hydrate cool storage technology is to use refrigerant blends to form mixed gas hydrate phase-change materials. The test results of phase-equilibrium and hydrate-formation properties of CFC alternatives R134a/R141b and R152a/R141b mixed gas hydrates are presented.
