Summary
EQUATIONS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED WHICH ACCURATELY REPRESENT THE AUTHOR'S CHART CORRELATION FOR SATURATED BOILING HEAT TRANSFER IN PLAIN TUBES AND ANNULI. THE CORRELATION CAN BE EASILY PROGRAMMED FOR COMPUTERS AND HAND-HELD CALCULATORS. RESULTS OF COMPARISON OF THIS CORRELATION WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF ADDITIONAL TUBE DATA ARE PRESENTED WHICH FURTHER CONFIRMS ITS RELIABILITY. APPLICABILITY TO ANNULI HAS BEEN FURTHER INVESTIGATED WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF ADDITIONAL DATA FOR INTERNAL AND BILATERAL HEATING.
