Summary
Control and management of the cold chain constitute a regulatory constraint for business operators in several sectors. Various traceability tools for cold chain control and management are now available and include time-temperature recorders, time-temperature integrators, temperature indicators and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags. In order to help business operators choose the most suitable system for their needs, this article presents available cold chain control and management tools, the technologies involved and some possible fields of applications .
