Cold heat storage characteristics of oil/water-type latent heat emulsion, including continuum phase of water treated with a freezing point depression.

Author(s) : INABA H., MORITA S. I.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The emulsion includes a water-urea solution as a continuum phase. The freezing point depression of the continuum phase permits enhancement of the heat transfer rate of the emulsion, due to the large temperature difference between the latent heat storage material and water-urea solution.
