Summary
At Upjohn laboratories, Val-de Reuil near Rouen, in France cold traps waste solvents resulting from the manufacture of medicine active ingredients. The treatment for ventiducts consists of the dehumidification of 2000 m3/hour vapours coming from reactors and from the process by them passing over an initial exchanger at -40 deg C. Then, waste solvents are trapped in a final separator at -80 deg C.
