Le froid industriel : dossier.

Type of article: Article

Summary

Industrial refrigeration is a fairly vague term. The use of refrigeration in chemical-industry processes, in the plastics industry, and in mechanical engineering are all part of industrial refrigeration. On the other hand, ambience air conditioning, even where it is closely linked with the manufacturing of products, for instance in the food industry, can also be classified as being in the air conditioning or in the industrial-refrigeration field. The only factor that can create a barrier is the technology used in plants: temperature precision, diffusion, accurate hygrometric control, sub-zero temperatures, etc. Certain companies are specialized in this field. Equipment manufacturers specialized in climate engineering tailor their ranges in order to gain entry to the industrial-refrigeration market. Even organizations such as Apave have now set up training and technical-assistance systems in order to help contractors and users perfect their knowledge.
