Summary

In the first part "Theoretical aspects", the author makes theoretical comparisons and studies two-stage systems and heat exchanges. The second part "Technological aspects" deals more particularly with compressors (reciprocating compressors, screw compressors), heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, plate apparatus; the author examines also the capacities of refrigerating circuits and their ducts. Finally, he reviews French regulations, standardization and codes.
