Performance comparison of R22 with R407C in a residential size central air-conditioner.

Summary
A comparison was made of the performance of the long term replacement R407C (R32-R125-R134a : 23-25-52%) in a residential size central air conditioning unit with the reference case R22. The performance evaluations were carried out under controlled conditions in a Psychrometric Calorimeter Test Facility using the standard Canadian Standards Association (CAS)/Air conditioning and refrigeration Institute (ARI) rating conditions. Results are given.
