Condensation enhancement: application to marine refrigerant condensers.
Author(s) : BONCA Z., BUTRYMOWICZ D., TRELA M.
Summary
This paper presents a method of heat transfer enhancement during condensation in horizontal shell-and-tube marine refrigerating condensers, using longitudinal drainage strips. With this method high compactness of these exchanges can be obtained. The modern plate heat exchangers are also briefly discussed.
