ON THE CONDENSATION OF REFRIGERANT MIXTURES INSIDE A HORIZONTAL TUBE, THERE ARE A FEW STUDIES REPORTED IN THE LITERATURE. HOWEVER, MORE EXTENSIVE WORK ON THE MECHANISM OF THE HEAT TRANSFER IS REQUIRED BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS AMONG COMPONENTS, MASS FRACTION, HEAT-TRANSFER SURFACE CONFIGURATION AND OTHER FACTORS. THIS PAPER DEALS WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE CONDENSATION OF THE REFRIGERANT MIXTURES R22 AND R114 INSIDE A HORIZONTAL TUBE WITH INTERNAL SPIRAL FINS. THE RESULTS FOR HEAT TRANSFER AND PRESSURE DROP ARE COMPARED WITH THE PREVIOUS STUDIES ON THE CONDENSATION OF PURE REFRIGERANTS INSIDE A HORIZONTAL SMOOTH TUBE.
