Summary

Condensing pressure control will be one of the first techniques abandoned or improved when stronger demands on lower energy consumption (and thereby lower CO2 production) come into force. Possibilities and consequences are presented after a review of reasons to use condenser pressure regulation. The general conclusion is that the main number of refrigeration plants can do with or without low-level condenser pressure regulation with substantial higher installation cost prices.
